"This year's annual ABC fashion show was a huge success, filled with sassy runway walks, blockbuster poses, and phonics ABC handmade costumes by our 26 kindergarteners."
After 26 days of ABC BOOTCAMP, Kindergarten had to celebrate our learning and growth! What better way to celebrate learning our sounds and letters than with a fashion show? This year's annual ABC fashion show was a huge success, with our biggest crowd in attendance yet! Students devoted time to practicing sassy runway walks, blockbuster poses, and phonics skills. Our ABC handmade costumes, paper bag vest (donated by Trader Joes), were made by our 30 kindergarteners. Some vest highlights were real popcorn glued to the “P” vest, a full back x-ray for “X”, and lots of flowers for “F”. Props of course are also encouraged with our “W” student wearing a wizard hat and our “S” student wearing sunglasses. This event is not only a great chance for our students to practice their phonics skills but also their public speaking skills. And of course Ms. Castro LOVES any reason to decorate and wear a costume!
